Jane Fox, MSW, LCSW Jane Fox, a psychotherapist since 1979, enjoys helping individuals, couples, children, and teens reach their goals. She specializes in assisting her clients to overcome stress, anxiety, depression, relationship discord, and the emotional affects of living with life-threatening illness, chronic illness, and disability. Jane has been practicing and teaching mindfulness-based stress reduction for over twenty-five years. She completed a professional internship at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, which was founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. who is a pioneer in the field. She teaches these powerful skills to corporate, college, community groups, and to many of her clients. Regardless of the setting, Jane's approach to her work is collaborative, insightful, non-judgmental, and empowering. Jane has advanced training in many areas including anxiety treatment, couples therapy, family therapy, object relations, chronic illness, addictions, hypnotherapy, trauma treatment in general and EMDR, a form of trauma therapy, in particular. Most of Jane's career has included working with children and teens, first as a French teacher to elementary, middle and high school students, and until 2005 as a part-time counselor at De Masi Middle School in Marlton, worked mostly with adults at The Family Therapy Center of Northern Virginia in Tyson's Corners, Virginia and at Genesis Counseling Center in Collingswood, New Jersey.
