Flavia Herzog Liebel, MA, RD, LDN, nutrition expert and educator, began working as a nutrition therapist for the Temenos Center in 2008. She provides individual nutrition counseling for our clients who struggle with eating disorders. Her combination of expert knowledge, warmth, humor, and compassion has been a tremendous resource for many of our clients who are in the process of recovering from an eating disorder.

Flavia is a registered dietitian and holds an MA in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University and a BS in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University. In addition to her work at Temenos she has her own nutrition practice, Therapeutic Nutrition. She has over 10 years experience working with individuals who have eating disorders. The majority of her clients are adolescent males and females, but Flavia is comfortable working with all age groups.

Flavia also works as a consultant for St.Joseph’s Women’s Basketball team, Keystone Eye Associates, and Wellness Concepts. Periodically she will present workshops for area high school and college athletes and large corporations on health and wellness.

In addition to the work described above, Flavia is often interviewed as a nutrition expert. She has appeared on CBS 3 NEWS, Speak Up!, CNN Comcast Newsmakers, Good Day Philadelphia, and Your Morning on CN8 and is often quoted in newspaper, magazine and internet articles.

She has presented at the Commissioner’s Forum on Childhood Obesity, American Dietetic Association National Conference, PA Dietetic Association Annual Conference, Hawaii Dietetic Association Annual Conference, and Community College of Philadelphia.
